Makayla and Taylor's Mini Session

Today was my first day attempting 30 minute mini-sessions. I've never restricted my time like this before, so I was excited but nervous. And of course we had chances of rain and the sun was coming in an out and driving us all crazy. I took a ton of pictures today.
I thoroughly enjoyed my sessions today. The sun was glaring down on these poor girls right off the bat so they had a hard time looking at me when they were on the sofa. I love the pictures of them on the tracks and in the grass better anyway. The only thing I forgot to do I think was get some of the girls individually in the tall grass. They were a lot of fun...

Another Sofa mini-session

Yesterday, I got a bigger challenge for my sofa mini sessions. Two boys who didn't want anything to do with it! They kept telling me they couldn't open their eyes or couldn't find me, and they'd drag their feet about doing anything I suggested. They complained about my grass being long.. lol. I tried to be accommodating and encouraged them to tell me what would work best for them in their opinion.. but I just couldn't win. My saving grace I guess is that they do the same thing for their mom's camera. Despite the expressions.. I think I still got some decent ones. I wish I'd had more time to come back and take more of the daughter - she is just beautiful and so sweet.  The mom too for that matter!

Atticus

I had the opportunity (finally!) to drag my red sofa out into my uncut backyard to play. I'm sure my neighbors would like me to cut the grass, but I wanted it long for this particular reason. Atticus was such a great little model for this and I enjoyed our little mini-session thoroughly. I took over 100 pictures in 20 minutes!  These are my favorites:

Katie is ONE!

Katie is such a cutiepie, but she gets so intrigued or cautious with whats around her that its hard to get her to smile during pictures. We finally got some on Friday! Not many, but she is a doll face even when not smiling so its okay. Here are my favorites:
