Family Portrait Session

Saturday I had the opportunity to photograph several families that are related to each other. Although I ended up being there for over five hours as everyone was coming and going at different times - I really enjoyed being with them all. They were all so very sweet, considerate, and cooperative! Originally I picked out way too many pictures to share in my blog, so I had to turn it into a video instead of post single pictures. I'd never used animoto before, but its pretty neat. Enjoy the little slideshow.. I think its about 2 minutes long.

Kelly and Chris Wedding

These two were so great to work with and seem so perfect for each other. They had a very easy-going, casual and relaxed approach to the wedding events. Everything seemed to go smoothly and all the guests had a blast at the reception.
At the moment, my ftp server is down so I can't upload the wedding album until its back up.. so until then, enjoy these:

Baby Micah

Micah is such a cute little boy! We weren't able to get a lot of different poses out of him this time (he is only two months old), but he's going to be an excellent model later for sure! These are some of my favorites from last night's session:

Logan

Logan is such a doll! He's apparently not a people person when it comes to those outside his family - but he didn't seem to mind me and actually smiled at me. Yeay!

Emma

We managed to get this outdoor session of Emma just in time! Seems it was the last perfectly warm pretty day of fall for at least another week or more. The leaves have finally changed in some spots which made for a great fall session. Emma was pretty set on doing her own thing, as is typical of two year olds, but I think we got some nice shots. Tiffany and Paul's Wedding

Tiffany and Paul had a small family only ceremony before heading over to Ravenwood for the reception with their family and friends. It was a very pleasant day. All of the family and guests were fun to work with. Here are some highlights:

Miranda

Yesterday my friend and fellow photographer was coming over with her daughter. I told her if she's up to it, we could pull out my new sofa and use her daughter as a model.. isn't she beautiful?

Kacey and Cody's Wedding

Kacey and Cody were great to work with and so were their friends and family! Everything was beautiful. I found out minutes before the ceremony started that I could not come past the last row of guests once the ceremony was underway. Thank goodness I had my huge long lens! The lighting was nice.
