Not your typical chiropractor

Okay - so this is my photography blog and the meat of post has nothing to do with photography whatsoever. I dont have any shoots to show you this week as I have been busy with many other things. I do want to take pictures of my latest prop soon and post them here to show you.. but I haven't had a chance. I bought a new Antoinette Sofa for my studio - I LOVE it! Its going to be so great for all ages and for families too. So I'll post those when I get a chance to take some.
In the meantime, I've also been struggling with a pinched nerve in my back. I woke up in major pain early Sunday morning. I was able to relieve it a little bit, but then Thursday I made it worse by putting my new sofa together. But - I met the greatest chiropractor I've ever been to yesterday! One of my friends was raving about her and I stopped in to ask some questions since I drive by the office a lot anyway. I explained that I have a wedding on Saturday and really could use the relief rather than be forced to work through the pain. She seemed very eager and sincere in finding a way to help me. She scheduled me to come back at 5pm when she could spend more time with me.

She was awesome!!

She is so genuine in her desire to help someone feel better, and she has a LOT of knowledge that goes beyond chiropractic care due to her studies in college. What I appreciate most I think is that I felt like my care was very personalized. I've been to a lot of different chiropractors over the years and typically got the same adjustment every time.. and often was with the doctor for just a few minutes. She spent the time necessary to really thoroughly examine me from head to toe to find my trouble spots and spent more time treating me. Explained to me everything she was doing at all times. Every actual adjustment she made was gentle and painless. She really loosened me up through some stretches and pulls and who knows what else - it was wonderful.
She let me come back today to keep working on my worst trouble spot and I feel like a new person. I can actually stand up straight today like I couldn't the rest of the week! Anyway.. I could go on and on about her and how great her service is, how professional and knowledgeable she is, how supportive and understanding she is for my personal needs and circumstances, and how thorough she is in her treatment and care. I actually look forward to my future adjustments.
I guess I should tell you who she is! Her name is Dr. Janelle Farris - co-owner of BeWell Chiropractic in Spring Hill. So if you live anywhere around here (or even if you dont) and need some relief from any kind of pain - I highly recommend her! Dr. Gregory Hutti also works in the office and I'm sure he's just as great. Their website is www.bewellspringhill.com so check 'em out! And tell them Amanda Hagler sent you! lol

Okay.. I have weddings the next three Saturdays - so I will be busy and have more to show you soon. Thanks for reading!
